You need only to mention 'taxes' and 'stats' to see Zan & Simon's faces light up completely, the same way it does every time they look at each other ^^ Zannie is an absolute gem- she flipped the script and planned a romantic surprise proposal to her now husband (one lucky man!), and put together this gorgeous 1920s Gatsby inspired garden ceremony to reflect their style and personalities. They started the day getting ready together at the historic Moulton Park Estate Homestead (c. 1910). Simon had a good ol chat over facetime with his family, who sadly couldn't make it from WA due to border closures. We had a touch of drama in the morning when the groom lost his shoes (I thought they'd already started playing the Pakistani game of Joota Chupai where the bride's sisters hides his shoes in exchange for money xD) but alas, they were simply misplaced in that ginormous house! Simon & Zan had a lovely first look moment amongst the blossoming hydrangea, then some portraits + family photos on the grounds before heading down the road to meet their guests at Fortnums, Sassafras. Cue lotsa tax jokes with half the guest list from the ATO, the funniest (and most effective) ice breaker I've seen at a wedding (charades!), and the sweetest promises made to each other. Feel so lucky to have captured this wedding as we only found each other in an online forum 2 weeks before the date!! Hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as I did capturing them ^^ xx
